Abstract Submission Deadline: October 15, 2005

Poster presentation will complement the plenary and symposia sessions at this conference. Researchers interested in presenting a poster should submit an abstract (following the guidelines below) in line with the conference theme and session topics. The Scientific Committee will review and notify of the acceptance of the submitted papers.

Participants whose abstracts are accepted for poster presentation will be given a special 15% discounted rate off the applicable registration fees. In case of multiple authors, only the primary author of the abstract will receive this discount.

Poster Abstracts Submission Guidelines

  1. Submit the Abstract online here by October 15, 2005. Applicants sending submission by mail are to include Abstract Submission Form (which can be downloaded here) and a soft copy of the abstract in a diskette or CD.
  2. Abstracts submitted must be in English and should not exceed 300 words. Standard abbreviations should be used wherever possible.
  3. Abstracts must include complete name(s) of the author(s). The name of the primary author must be clearly identified by underlining the surname.
  4. The following information must be included in the abstract:
    a. Objective of the study
    b. Brief description of the methodology
    c. Results and adequate details to support the conclusion

  5. Posters will be displayed throughout the Conference. Please note that presenter(s) must register for the Conference and will need to be at the proximity of the poster during the dedicated poster sessions.
  6. Submission of an abstract and application is not a guarantee of acceptance by the Scientific Committee. Due to limited space, only abstracts most closely related to the scope and purpose of the Conference will be selected. Notification of acceptance will be provided within one month after receipt of abstracts or by October 21, 2005.
  7. Presenters are responsible for poster development. Poster size guidelines will be forwarded to individuals whose abstracts are accepted. The poster guidelines must be strictly followed.

Send in your abstract for a chance to win Best Posters Award!
